"I'm a sucker for opalite and this piece is gorgeous. The ring clicks and holds firmly. I ordered the 10 mm given the other review, but should have gotten the 8 mm as the 10 mm is much too large for my helix. The 10 mm actually fits my conch. Snugly, but it does fit. 8 mm is definitely the proper size for most helix rings."
"We purchased this piece as a first-time jewelry change for a helix piercing, which, according to the piercing guide, was recommended for the placement. When we put it in, it was a little snug, but no more than you'd expect from swelling from messing with the ear. Three days later, it was pulling forward through the cartilage, as if it were rejecting, even though it is a nearly four-year-old piercing. The piece is of great quality and fits well in a rook piercing, but is NOT large enough for a helix piercing towards the middle of the upper ear fold."
