"When i saw this new design, i really wanted to try them out. When looking for gauges, its usually a slight variation on a style done many times before. When these arrived, I was really surprised at how they looked. Mayne if the size was smaller it wouldn't have looked so shockingly weird. The outer wood design was a large enough hoop to make a bracelet (which i did try after deciding i could never wear these as gauges, but the wood snapped in half when attempted lol, o well) The inner wood desings only carved on one side, the other one is flat. Since they sit on a 90 degree angle from your ears, you could only see the wood from the side, which is where the un-carved flat side shows. Its an admirable attempt, but its def weird and not super usable. Sorry bout it."
