Bones Feel Great!

"So I purchased a few Bone Plugs from Urban Body Jewelry and I am now currently at 25mm however I still wear Bone Jewelry and plugs, someone was complaining about how they turned yellow right away and that is to be expected. Bones turn yellow, they do not stay white forever, however you can have them stay white for a pretty long time by keeping them in an area away from as much air and light as possible. Bone is mostly for the feel as well as their look and they're also one of the first jewelry many cultures used to adorn themselves with. They're super light (except for horn and antler which is very heavy, about as heavy as stone) and the texture is very smooth, some bones feel differently from others. Bones are amazing but they're very fragile, more fragile than wood, you cannot get them wet as they will crack and break on you and you have to oil them consistently with Jajoba oil. I oil my bone jewelry every three months or so. One last thing, it's important that you brush your bone plugs after usage, if you get them dirty do not use soap and water, what you can use is jajoba oil to clean them or do what I do and use wood wipes, it sounds weird but I've been using wood wipes on my bone jewelry for about three years no problem, wood wipes actually clean grime off and they're specifically for wood which also can't get wet, this is because the moisture from the wipes dries up insanely fast, and after three years I've had no problems at all. Bone plugs are also organic and they're not to be stretched with and they can build up bacteria very quickly so if you have a wound in your ear hole, do not wear these. Bones require alot of care but if you're into the feel and history behind bone jewelry then they're worth it. I love mine and some bone jewelry are only for serious collectors."

Poor quality

"In the package these looked nice but the “bone” material turned yellow immediatelt and it’s translucent so I can see the purple through it. Doesn’t look nearly as pretty in my ear as it did in the package. Oh well. Also note: it’s one sided."
