"The purple 18 guage version I got closes *a little* funny, but I haven't used it because I got the wrong guage (totally on me), so I can't say how well it works. The blue, I got in a 16 guage, and it opens and closes perfectly and has held up nicely. I love the color, too! It is incredibly vibrant, even 3 months later."
"I previously left a 5 star review for this piece of jewelry, but I am changing it to a 3 star. I went to go put in this ring in my septum and upon closing the hinge completely broke and pinched my septum in the process. I also had a similar issue with the purple opalite one as well, but urban sent me a replacement and the one I recieved as a replacement has not had any issues. I'm disappointed that the same issue happened with this one as well. I don't know if I just got a bad batch of these 2 colors, but it's very disappointing to say the least."
