"It IS cute. . . but I'll never be able to wear it. The 8mm size is strictly horizontal; the vertical clearance is more like half of that, when you consider the sharp protrusions extending up from the perigee of the ring. Even just trying it on for a split second caused pain and damage to my piercing. Seriously. If 8mm usually gives you a nice close fit, go for 10mm."

"So pretty and I loved the way it looks. The only issue was that the 8mm was too small and the spikes dug into the lower part of my nose. The area is 8mm but the actual space in-between the jewelry and my nose is 6mm from the spikes that come upward. Check before buying! Otherwise super awesome !"
